FREE ENTERPRISE + FOOTBALL = SDFL

Houston, Texas, June 24, 2017 (SDFLNETWORK) –With so many organizations jockeying for position to be a true developmental platform for the NFL the SDFL has decided to restart game play in 2018.

The States Developmental Football League will forgo the 2017 football season in order to add more teams and revenue generating platforms for a strong 2018 campaign. The race for a true developmental football league with National Football League ties, warranted a stronger on the field product, and also more states for the SDFL's brand of football and business.

"With more and more investment groups, business organizations, agents, and players looking at our business model, it only made since to rework some logistical practices in order to have a more impactful reach when we restarted game play," stated Commissioner of the SDFL Garrick Jones. Jones went on to say "An important thing to know about the SDFL is that we more so focus on the athletes after life then the majority of leagues these days, so we have to make sure that the product, passion, and the plan all are aligned."

2018 looks to be a very promising year for the SDFL with all the factors of league reach being addressed during what would have been the leagues reintroduction in 2017. The league will restart game play with 8 teams, a per game salary for athletes, housing, and a multitude of investment groups ready to see just how well the SDFL fares against it's competitors for title of developmental football league for the NFL.

The States Developmental Football League’s key principals are professional development on and off the field. Our athletes, cheer teams, and staff as a whole will have the opportunity to be prepared in business so that once the regulation game is over they have a fighting chance. We place emphasis on the areas the other leagues don't. Those areas we speak of, are business and financial literacy. The components of business, laced with financial teachings are paramount for our athletes, as the game of football is a brief blurb compared to life after football.
